We all know most dates are not written in stone. Weather, Fire, Earthquake, Rockslide, Flood, Bridge out, Tsunami, or Invasion from Outer Space, etc. Just might change things.
Some will fall by the wayside and other hikes will be spontaneously added by members at our meetings, as is our tradition.

These Backpacking treks (BELOW) are hard dates by group consensus, which are written in stone.

This year is another ambitious schedule that will offer many diverse environments, an aspect we love about the great out-of-doors. A schedule that will assess commitment, vigor, resources, patience, and some days… much resolve, but challenges worthy of all.
If you would like to add your name to any trips, please contact us.
Due to the Land Management Organization’s Requirements, sometimes an extremely limited number of slots are available. If all slots are taken, you can still put in for a ‘Standby’ position if anyone chooses to cancel their slot.
If your name is on a trip and you’re NOT going and must CANCEL, please let us know ASAP, so someone else can take your slot.
SLOTS for Wilderness permits are extremely limited and difficult to obtain.
You will be responsible for paying for your pre-paid slot if you later decide not to go unless someone else goes in your place.
Your financial Commitment is necessary bearing actual expense, normally $5, plus any Entry and camping Fees as pre-charged (non-refundable) by the Land Management, with a drop dead – deadline to be established - advanced notice forthcoming. Deposits and expenses are the Actual Expenses such as Permit Fees and Entry Fees and are divided among the members scheduled to go on the outing.
COURTESY NOTE: Be certain to TIP your DRIVER for GAS!
This upcoming year promises to be great fun. See you on the trail.
